Prompt Payment Town Halls (Oct 28th & Nov 1st)
October 2021

Join us for an important
PROMPT PAYMENT TOWN HALL
With the BC Attorney General’s Office

It’s your time to share directly with the Attorney General’s office how the lack of prompt payment legislation has impacted your companies, your employees and your families.

ECABC has partnered with the British Columbia Construction Association (BCCA) and the Mechanical Contractors Association of BC (MCABC) to bring the voices of electrical contractors and other sub-contractors to the Government of British Columbia. Sub-contractors from across the province will tell their stories and voice their support for prompt payment legislation at five virtual town halls.

What you can expect:

  • A backgrounder on the issue and solution from industry associations
  • A presentation from the Attorney General’s office: their current position and plans for the future
  • The opportunity to express your opinion and ask questions of the associations and the Attorney General’s office

Let’s show Attorney General David Eby how important this issue is to BC’s construction industry. Make the time. Tell your story. Register today.

ECABC members can registration for the town hall on October 28th at 8:00 am below; this session will be dedicated to trade contractors and members of ECABC and MCABC.

For those who wish to attend one of the other town halls, registration information can be found here.
