Pay Transparency Act Legal Seminar

The BC Government passed the Pay Transparency Act in 2023, creating new requirements for employers in public job postings, and imposing new restrictions on employers. ECABC and the Roofing Contractors Association of BC are teaming up to provide our members with a free educational session led by Harris & Company LLP’s Abigail Cheung on the Act and what it means for employers.

Abigail has written about, presented on and been interviewed about BC’s new pay transparency legislation and looks forward to sharing her views on best practices for employers to comply with and implement these rules.

Cancellation Policy

Fees will be collected at the time of registration. Should it be necessary to cancel your attendance please contact ECABC at any time up to 4 weeks prior to the course start date for a full refund. A cancellation from 2 weeks to 4 weeks will result in a 50% refund. There will be no refund for cancellations less than 10 business days prior to the scheduled start date. Participant substitutions may be made up to 2 days before the course start date, at no additional fee.

If the course needs to be to be postponed or cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, ECABC will refund the registration fee or, if possible, the attendee may choose to move to an identical session in the future.
