For nearly 50 years, Vancouver Island Mental Health Society (VIMHS) has been dedicated to supporting people experiencing mental health and substance use conditions across Vancouver Island. VIMHS is a registered non-profit and charitable organization rooted in psychosocial rehabilitation and community-based care.
VIMHS’s mission is to support individuals and families impacted by mental health and substance use through housing, rehabilitation, education, harm reduction, and recovery-focused services.
The organization’s vision is to create a society where mental health is prioritized, understood, and celebrated, and where all people, including those experiencing psychiatric, addiction, or cognitive challenges, are valued and supported.
Guiding this work are core values that emphasize:
- Dignity and integrity – everyone is worthy, respected, and honoured
- Compassion – everyone deserves support in their life journey
- Belonging – everyone is accepted, included, and valued
- Community – connection, shared responsibility, and mutual support
- Empowerment – supporting individuals to discover and build on their strengths
VIMHS provides a wide range of programs and services designed to promote stability, wellness, and community connection. These include a continuum of housing options, such as supportive, transitional, and independent housing, as well as sobering and assessment services, overdose prevention supports, and harm reduction programming.
The organization also delivers public education and community engagement initiatives that promote awareness, reduce stigma, and foster dialogue about mental health and substance use.
At the heart of VIMHS is a commitment to psychosocial rehabilitation and harm reduction, meeting people where they are and supporting their individual paths to recovery.
Through compassionate, person-centred care and strong community partnerships, VIMHS works to create safer, more inclusive communities, ensuring that individuals facing complex challenges have access to the housing, healthcare, and supports they need to thrive.
SPONSORSHIPS
‘Cart’ Sponsorship, $1500: Have your company name and logo front and centre on each golf cart. Your company will also be verbally recognized at the event, as well as on ECABC’s website, in ECABC’s e-newsletter and included in correspondence sent out to all golfers.
‘Premium Greens’ Sponsorship, $1000: This opportunity allows the sponsor to place branded flags at each hole. Your company will also be verbally recognized at the event, as well as on ECABC’s website, in ECABC’s e-newsletter and included in correspondence sent out to all golfers.
‘Lunch’ Sponsorship, $1000: This sponsor will be recognized with a sign at the BBQ featuring your company name and logo. Your company will also be verbally recognized at the event, as well as on ECABC’s website, in ECABC’s e-newsletter and included in correspondence sent out to all golfers.
‘Dinner’ Sponsorship, $1000: This sponsor will be recognized with a sign at dinner featuring your company name and logo. Your company will also be verbally recognized at the event, as well as on ECABC’s website, in ECABC’s e-newsletter and included in correspondence sent out to all golfers.
‘Score Card’ Sponsorship, $1000: This sponsor will be recognized with your company logo on each team’s score card. Your company will also be verbally recognized at the event, as well as on ECABC’s website, in ECABC’s e-newsletter and included in correspondence sent out to all golfers.
‘Registration’ Sponsorship, $500: The sponsor’s logo will be featured on signage at the registration area.
‘Closest to the Pin’ Sponsorship, $500: A tee sign with your company logo will be placed at an assigned hole on the golf course.
‘Ladies’ Longest Drive’ Sponsorship, $500: A tee sign with your company logo will be placed at an assigned hole on the golf course; sponsors are also required to provide a prize for the winner.
‘Men’s Longest Drive’ Sponsorship, $500: A tee sign with your company logo will be placed at an assigned hole on the golf course; sponsors are also required to provide a prize for the winner.
‘Putting Contest’ Sponsorship, $500: A tee sign with your company logo will be placed at the putting hole; you also have the opportunity to have a representative at the putting green. This sponsor is also required to provide a prize for the winner.
‘Hole-In-One’ Sponsorship, $350: Please note: hole-in-one sponsorships require a spotter at the assigned hole. Sponsorship cost is $300, plus the insurance (which the sponsor must procure). This sponsor will be recognized with a sign at the event featuring your company name and logo. Your company will also be recognized on ECABC’s website and in ECABC’s e-newsletter.
‘Hole’ Sponsorship, $350: A tee sign with your company logo (easel) will be placed at one of the 18 holes on the golf course. Your company will also be recognized on ECABC’s website and in ECABC’s e-newsletter.

Event Policies
IMPORTANT — Cancellation Policy: Fees will be invoiced following registration. Should it be necessary to cancel your attendance, please contact ECABC at any time up to four (4) weeks prior to the event date for a full refund. A cancellation from two (2) weeks to four (4) weeks will result in a 50% refund. There will be no refund for cancellations less than 10 business days prior to the scheduled event start date.
Care, don’t share – if you are feeling unwell, please send another team member in your place. To keep our members safe, ECABC is happy to accommodate last-minute name changes.
Notice of Photography
Please be advised that photographs will be taken at the event for use on ECABC’s website and social media accounts. By registering for this event, you consent to the Association photographing and using your image and likeness. If you do not want to be photographed, please let the ECABC staff know when you arrive to the event.
