Vancouver Island Chapter Nanaimo Meeting February 2026

ECABC President Matt MacInnis will deliver a focused presentation on B.C.’s prompt payment legislation. Matt will walk members through what is included in the new legislative framework, what is not captured, and the key next steps that electrical contractors should anticipate as the province moves toward full implementation.

In addition to the legislative overview, the meeting will feature an open discussion period for members to share the systemic challenges they are currently facing. This conversation will help identify areas where support is most needed and will inform ECABC’s ongoing advocacy and member‑service priorities.

This is a fantastic opportunity for members to stay informed, ask questions, and contribute directly to shaping ECABC’s efforts on behalf of the industry.
