In memorium – Clifford Lloyd Pilkey

It is with sadness that we share the passing of former ECABC Executive Director and Hall of Fame member, Cliff Pilkey, who passed away on March 21^st, 2026. Cliff served as ECABC’s Executive Director from the mid‑1980s until his retirement in 1998, leaving a legacy that continues to shape the organization today.

Throughout his tenure, Cliff was deeply committed to ECABC and its members, and many credit his leadership with encouraging greater involvement and engagement with the Association, an approach that reflected his belief in collaboration, mentorship and shared responsibility.

Cliff will be remembered as a gentleman and a genuinely kind person. He was beloved by ECABC members not only for his professionalism, but for the warmth, wit, integrity and humanity he brought to his role. His contributions to ECABC will not be forgotten, and his impact will be felt for years to come.
