ECABC Opens Applications for Board of Directors

The Electrical Contractors Association of British Columbia is eagerly preparing for our Provincial Annual General Meeting on June 2, 2026 at the Delta Hotels Grand Okanagan Resort in Kelowna.

Among the many anticipated highlights of the upcoming conference and AGM is the election of our Board of Directors for the coming term. Applications will be reviewed by ECABC staff, and approved by ECABC’s Governance and Nominations Committee and Board of Directors. Eligible applicants will be notified prior to Monday, May 11, 2026, and then stand for election at the AGM.

Interested persons must be an employee of a contractor member of ECABC with considerable industry knowledge and experience. First terms for Board of Directors are two years and a minimum commitment of four years is standard for ECABC’s Board.

Responsibilities and tasks include:

  • Contribute to the direction of ECABC, the industry’s voice for electrical contractors
  • Help us build a stronger association for the benefit of all ECABC members
  • Work with other industry leaders
  • Improve your personal and corporate profile in the industry
  • Be on the cutting edge of all issues affecting the electrical industry

Most importantly, as an ECABC Board member you will have a forum to support positive change for our industry.
