January Update
The Central Chapter will hold their first meeting of 2020 on March 12th at the Sandman Signature Prince George. The Chapter will welcome BC Hydro as their speaker. More details will be available closer to the event date.
Social Update: Members and guests are also encouraged to participate in the Central Chapter Curling Bonspiel game, scheduled for February 22nd at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club; a buffet dinner will follow. Please click here to register.
November Update
On November 7th, the Central Chapter welcomed members to its AGM & Chapter Meeting at the Sandman Signature Hotel in Prince George. As he did for the Vancouver Island Chapter, Ted Simmons led a presentation on the 2018 Canadian Electrical Code.
Social Update: Members are also encouraged to participate in the annual Central Chapter Fluorescent Hockey Tournament, scheduled for December 27th. Please click here to register.
September Update
Seventy golfers participated in this year’s MCABC and ECABC Golf Tournament at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club on August 23rd. Overcast skies and intermittent rain didn’t dampen spirits at this 8th Annual Event.
The proceeds from the will be donated to the Canadian Cancer Society Kordyband Lodge.

May Update
On May 2nd, the ECABC Central Chapter welcomed Brad Ou-Yang of AES Engineering Ltd. to Prince George’s Inn of the North to deliver a detailed Lunch & Learn Presentation on ASHRAE 90.1: Design, Construction and Compliance Requirements. A valuable Q & A session followed the presentation; ECABC looks forward to sharing news of these most recent updates with the rest of the province in the near future.
Following Brad’s presentation, Julia Wu of TSBC shared an informative video presentation on the FSR renewal process, and reminded members that July 31, 2019 is the FSR Certification Renewal Deadline.
ECABC Chairman, Bill Strain, also attended the event and delivered a presentation on the Association’s most recent news and developments.

February Update
On February 9th at the Prince George Golf and Curling Club, the Central Chapter enjoyed their first Curling Bonspiel event. It was thoroughly enjoyed and will become an annual Chapter tradition.
