March Update
NEW Vancouver Chapter Policy Changes are now in effect:
Inclusive in each ECABC Vancouver Chapter Membership is the opportunity for that company to attend Vancouver Chapter Meetings at no charge. Rising attendance numbers and, in turn, rising last-minute cancellations and no-shows, however, have resulted in increased costs incurred by the Chapter. To ensure these events remain sustainable, the Vancouver Chapter Executive has created the following two policies, which will be effective as of Friday, March 1st, 2019.
Vancouver Chapter Meeting Registration Policy
As an ECABC Vancouver Chapter member benefit, each member company is permitted to send up to two representatives to each Vancouver Chapter Meeting; members of the Vancouver Chapter Executive and ECABC Board of Directors are exempt from this count due to their voluntary commitment to the Association. All attendees must register at least 72 business-day hours in advance of the Meeting. Any company sending more than two representatives will be charged a $50 fee per additional person attending. All fees will be processed by the ECABC Provincial Office. Enforcement of this policy is at the discretion of the ECABC President.
Attendance Incentive Fee for Vancouver Chapter Meetings
Those members whom have registered for a Vancouver Chapter Meeting may contact ECABC to cancel up to 72 business-day hours prior to the meeting date at no charge; a full refund will be issued by the ECABC Provincial Office if applicable. There will be no refund for cancellations less than 72 business-day hours prior to the meeting date, and those members cancelling or failing to attend without notice will be charged a cancellation fee of $50. In the event that a member was registered by another party from their company, the charge will be directed to the original registering party. We recognize that uncontrollable situations do arise, however, so any participant subsitution(s) may be made at no additional charge. All fees will be processed by the ECABC Provincial Office. Enforcement of this policy is at the discretion of the ECABC President.
