ECABC’s 67th Annual General Meeting was held on October 25th, 2019 at the Hilton Vancouver Metrotown.
Over the course of the day, 142 members and guests enjoyed a full day of activities. Highlights included:
- “Opiates, Impairment & Addiction in the Construction Industry” presentation by Dave Earle, President & CEO, BC Trucking Association
- “Growing Your Industry Network and Business Using Cocial Media” presentation by Jillian P. Stead, Digital & Marketing Director NATIONAL Public Relations;
- “The Rights and Remedies of Subcontractors and Trade Contractors Under the Builders Lien Act” legal presentation with Tyler Galbraith, Partner, Jenkins Marzban Logan LLP
- 2019 Annual General Meetings (ECABC Provincial and Vancouver Chapter)

Of note, ECABC membership unanimously elected Derek Mott, Mott Electric GP. and Paul Claproth, Black & McDonald Limited, to two-year terms as Directors on the ECABC Board of Directors. Don Bayda, F&M Installations Ltd. and Robert Bamford, Plan Group Inc. have been appointed to one-year terms as Alternate Directors.
