April Update
On Thursday, April 25th, 39 members attended ECABC’s April Vancouver Island Chapter Meeting at the Marriot Victoria Inner Harbour. The event began with a reception featuring Gescan, who generously shared information about their latest wares. Bill Strain, ECABC Chairman, also attended the event, providing the members with an Association and Chapter update.
During the Chapter Meeting portion of the evening, Paige Hill (Regional Business Leader, Technical Safety BC [TSBC], Vancouver Island) and a team from TSBC delivered an informative session on Electric Shock, as well as the FSR renewal process, which was very well received.
For those members interested in learning more about the FSR renewal process, TSBC requested we share the following note:
“Thanks for attending Technical Safety BC’s information session on FSR Renewal.
Please feel free to visit our FSR Renewal webpage for more information, including:
> A step-by-step renewal guide,
> The tutorial video shown during the session,
> Information about the new BC Master Electrician designation, and
> Information about the knowledge update requirements for the next renewal cycle.
Please share this information with any FSRs who may have not yet renewed their certification.”
ECABC would like to thank TSBC, Gescan, and all of the attendees for making this a memorable evening.
