Kayak Tour:

June 20th, 9:30 – 11:30AM 

Perfect for anyone looking to get out and experience the Okanagan from the stunning shoreline of our mountain lakes. This two-hour return paddle launches from Penticton’s waterfront and meanders the eastern shoreline of the Okanagan Lake. Take in the nature and serenity of the lake while learning simple paddling techniques and learning about the geography and history of the region.

 

Inclusion & additional information:
  • Certified kayak guide
  • Kayak and safety equipment
  • Water
  • Local area information and history
  • 2-hour beginner paddle

 

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Water: Minimum 1L per person is recommended.
  • Weather-appropriate clothing and footwear suitable for the activity (clothes and footwear that can get wet, open-toed footwear allowed).
  • Sun protection essentials: sunglasses, sunscreen, hat, and clothing for extra coverage.
  • Personal medications if needed.
  • A small towel.

Golf:

Penticton Golf & Country Club

ECABC has secured space for four Tee Times (foursomes) at this venue, which will take attendees four hours to complete. Spend time at the beautiful and historic Penticton Golf & Country Club which, in 1961, opened the first 18-hole golf course in the British Columbia Interior and has recently celebrated its centennial.

 

The course is a 25-minute walk from the Penticton Lakeside Resort & Conference Centre or a six-minute drive.

 

Tee Time rates*:

  • $104 plus tax, per person (includes cart)

 

Golf club rentals:

  • $40 plus tax, per person

 

*Tee Times begin at 9:28AM and are in eight-minute intervals. Please be aware that as there are only four foursomes/Tee Times, space is very limited.

Twin Lakes Golf Course

ECABC has secured space for ten Tee Times (foursomes) at this venue, which will take attendees four and a half hours to complete. This serene 285-acre resort is nestled in a scenic valley surrounded by towering rock cliffs and features pine, fir, and numerous deciduous trees and a variety of wildlife to complement the mountain scenery.

 

The course is a 25-minute drive from the Penticton Lakeside Resort & Conference Centre.

 

Tee Time rates*:

  • $79 plus tax, per person (includes cart)
  • $276 plus tax, per foursome (includes cart)

 

Golf club rentals:

  • $15 plus tax, per person

 

*Tee Times begin at 8:20AM and are in ten-minute intervals

Neighbourhood Brewery Tour

June 20th, 11:30AM

Just a short walk from the Penticton Lakeside Resort, join us for a 60-90 min. tour of Penticton’s very own Neighbourhood Brewing. A proud family-run business, this brewery produces all of beer in the facility you will be touring. Enjoy a brew while their team walks you through how their products are made and distributed. After the tour, opt to stay for a lunch from their Mexican-inspired cuisine. (Lunch charged separately)


Grape Savvy Wine Trolley Tour to the District Wine Village

June 22nd, 11:00AM – 5:15PM

Take in the Okanagan’s spectacular wine country like never before. Tour-takers will enjoy a roundtrip trolley ride to the District Wine Village from the Penticton Lakeside Resort with two wine tastings en-route at Meyer Family Vineyards and Mayhem Wines. Next stop is the District Wine Village, where you can enjoy an afternoon visiting their 11 wineries, 1 brewery, 1 distillery and a restaurant!
